Day ~*29*~

Time to get back on this health journey. I've been a slacker and it's gotta stop!  Over the weekend a group of us decided to enter the Tough Mudder next year.... that gives us about 13mo of preparation.  I'm not 100% sure we'll be ready in 13mo but it gives us something to work towards! If not the mudder I fully intend to do the Warrior Dash which is about 1/3 of the length ;)  Either way I've gotta get in better shape!  My scale is back up to 160.4 this morning.  I am not going to be bummed about that. Instead I am going to move forward.  This morning my alarm went off at 4:45am...... Lindsay and I were at the bottom of Beezley hill (AKA Mountain) at 5:05 and working our way up.  We took 9 breaks on the way up.  Our mini goal is to complete the hike from bottom to top with no breaks... Hopefully that #9 is down to less or even 0 within 2 weeks ;)  We were back in the van at 5:43 so not bad ;)  Weird that it's 7:20am and I am up, hiked a mt, gone to Safeway, visited my friend, took a shower, eaten breakfast (bagel thin with cream cheese) and am now on the net and having a coffee............ Usually I roll outta bed around 9:30 and that's too early for me LOL  Lifestyle changes right?

Beezley Mountain Conquered at 5am YAHOO.  We hiked from the far left of the photo along the ridge to the far right of the photo:)  This morning we took 9 breaks.  Our mini goal is to be able to hike it with 0 breaks.  Hopefully we'll be a lot closer to that #0 in 2 weeks then we are as of today!
