Health Journey Update..... I stepped on the scale and thought I broke it! My previous weight was 158.2 so I was really crossing my fingers and hoping to see 157 something.......What did I see? 156.8 Two Days In a ROW!!! WAHOOOOO And I am PMS'ing which is usually when I have big weight gains so this makes me SO HAPPY. Lindsay and I hit the track tonight after taking last night off. Her knee was hurting and I was in moses Lake at the clinic with a hurt Kinleigh so we felt it was ok to take a day off. We'll hit the track tomorrow to make up for our missed Wed. Tomorrow is the "official" monthly weigh in so I'm ready to see a good number! I feel like I might finally be getting back in the weightloss groove? Praying that since I actually started my period today I don't have water retention tomorrow :p I think getting my thyroid meds changed may have helped this? Along with eating and my 1 1/4 miles 4 days a week? Anyway it's great to see my numbers going DOWN rather then up or staying the same. I've been stuck in a rut for almost 7mo now!

Day ~*9*~
Well my journey seems to be going somewhere today! Weigh in this morning was 158.2 YAHOO.... down any amount makes me so happy! The track went well tonight. It was kinda hot (82 degrees) and a little windy but we survived. We also are noticing that we are increasing speed slightly... not only on our walks but on our jogging. We're making steps on our journey!
Breakfast: bagel thin w/strawberry cream cheese
Lunch: Turkey sandwich with NO cheese and a few teddy grahams
Dinner: Chicken Broccoli Sesame noodles with mandarin oranges
Dessert??? probably strawberries

Day ~*8*~
Well today I stepped on the scale hoping to not see a gain...... I ended up with a little loss YAY! it told me 158.8..... I've been wanting to see something under 159 for a LONG time now.. Now I must keep it going on the downward trend rather then back up :p I am PMSing right now so I really hope it doesn't mess with me and I don't get discouraged! I was hoping Lindsay would forget about the track....... But nope, she had an amazing weigh in today and was super motivated to go do our workout. So 5 times around the track we went tonight. 1/2 walk 1/2 jog on the 4 laps with a cool down lap. I noticed today that our jog has increased in speed. no wonder it's getting harder LOL But that's a good thing right? I will say tonight was easier then last Wed/Thurs. I am thinking maybe cause we had 3 days off? Not sure, but I hope tomorrow is easier too cause man last week I struggled!

Scale says 159.5 this morning. ugh Ick Frustrated! Maybe it's the two slices of pizza I had Sat night? I dunno but this just sucks. I really want to get in the lower 150's.................. For eating I did pretty well today though and am hoping that soon I see a difference on the scale. I can tell i am adjusting to no pop because when I do have a pop now I have trouble finishing it, when I usually gulp two or three down within hours. This is a good thing! ;) Still not a huge water fan, but trying to make myself one.

Day ~*5*~
Ok so Healthy journey today? Nothing spectacular... No track as I had a ton of stuff to accomplish this evening including cooking dinner for 2 families. Had to pay forward the meals I recieved after Kinleigh was born and made dinner for a MOPS lady who had her little man last week. So I was a cooking slave rather then a track slave. I did get some exersize in while taking senior photos this evening for 3 hours though. My scale was down from 160.3 to 159.4.... but we'll see how that works out. I seem real stuck in the 159-162 range for 6+mo now :(

Day ~*4*~
Ok so my friend dragged me to the track again...... WOWSA did I struggle! I don't quite understand why day #4 would be so much harder then days 1-3 but it most definitely was! We went back to walking 1/2 the track and jogging 1/2 the track and I seriously did NOT think I was going to finish~! Somehow we plugged along and did finish though. We didn't even get lapped! Hooray! Unfortunately for me the scale and I are NOT getting along and it was up to 160.3 this morning :( How depressing is that? I am so excited for my bestie and her weightloss... but I really wanna slap her every day when she announces she's down 1lb and I am not :p LOL Just keep swimming Just keep swimming......

Day ~*3*~
Today as much as I didn't want to go to the track I did go! Lindsay and I decided to push it up a touch and jog a little over 1/2 the track lap. It was HARD! We both broke a sweat and breathing like we'd ran a full marathon after each leg of jogging LOL Today however we did get to be the lappers rather then the fatties being lapped! Ok so the people we lapped were probably 70 yrs old but hey at least the 70yr olds weren't lapping US!

Day ~*2*~
Another day....
Well today went ok. Nothing stellar to report. I skipped breakfast which is a big nono. I took the kids to the free lunch program here in town and then had myself a turkey sandwich and a few teddy grahams at splashzone. Afterwards I took the kiddos for Icee's and Ice Cream courtesy of Grandma Bea and got myself a Chocolate dipped cone from McDonalds. Dinner tonight is spaghetti, salad and a piece of texas toast. Hoping I can finish the night out with minimal snacking so I can have a decent day today. Tonight Lindsay and I hit up the track again. We did the same as yesterday. 4 laps of 1/2 walking 1/2 jogging and one cool down lap for a total of 1 1/4 miles. We were lapped twice by the younger jogger... (kinda embarassing) but hey at least we were out there doing it! I had to have my picture taken for Splashzone pool pass today... and to say it was unflattering is an understatement! TERRIblE! Good thing I went to the track today :p LOL

I lied~! ~*~ Day 1~*~
Welcome!
Ok time for yet ANOTHER blog. I am now the proud owner of 3 blogs. My personal life blog. My photography journey, and now the journey of getting healthy and taking one photo a day! Now to keep up with this blog and not forget about it ;)
Today I start off at 160lbs and am ready to get on the wagon once again for the umpteenth time of getting healthy. My bestie is amazing me with her weightloss skills and kicking my a$$~! Time for me to get serious and stop talking about healthy lifestyle and start doing something about it! Today I ate a turkey sandwich, some potato chips, 4 fudge striped cookies and a handful of pretzels for lunch. For dinner I had spaghetti and salad and chose not to eat any texas toast. I've also drank only water or crystal light drop ins with my water and no soda after a binge on Mt Dew this weekend :p So tonight I also hopped back onto the get my butt moving bandwagon thanks to my bestie holding me accountable! I probably would have backed out but she was there texting me and encouraging me to go with her. We did 5 laps around the track. The first 4 laps were a walk for 1/2 and a jog for 1/2 and the last lap was a cool down walk. Meaning we jogged 1/2 mile and walked 3/4 mile tonight. We will only get better from here!
Tomorrow I start with a picture a day for at least the summer! They may be cell phone pictures but there will be one photo per day to show off our summer!
